Real Reason Why Edge Was Removed from The Judgment Day Revealed - Reports

Edge was brutally attacked on RAW following Hell in a Cell in what was one of the most shocking segments in WWE.

The leader of the cult group, The Judgment Day was betrayed by his own members Damien Priest and Rhea Ripley who were joined by the new member, Finn Balor.

It was a shocking turn of events considering there was no visible tension between Priest, Ripley and Edge.

Fightful Select now reports the real reason behind Edge's departure from The Judgment Day.

Many fans felt that the decision to have Edge turn into a babyface was because of Cody Rhodes.

Cody Rhodes will be out of WWE for six months!

In the absence of Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns, fans felt WWE needed a new superstar, and Edge made for a perfect replacement.

However, that's not case. Edge's exit from The Judgment Day has nothing to do with Cody Rhodes' exit but Edge's opposition to WWE's plans for the stable.

According to reports, WWE wanted to give a supernatural element to The Judgment Day. However, Edge did not like the idea, and was rightfully shown the door from the stable.

Needless to say, it does no harm to Edge, and the Rated-R Superstar should fare well as a babyface in the absence of Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton.
