WWE Superstar Randy Orton is set to appear in court as part of a WWE 2K game lawsuit that was filed against the company.

The lawsuit was filed by Randy Orton’s tattoo artist Catherine Alexander in 2018 regarding the usage of her tattoo work in the game.

The lawsuit is filed against The WWE, Take-Two Interactive Software Inc, 2K Games Inc, 2K Sports Inc, Visual Concepts Entertainment, Yukes Co Ltd, and Yukes LA Inc.

In the lawsuit, she claims that the parties infringed her copyrights by using Randy Orton’s tattoos in the game without her permission.

The former multiple-time WWE champion will be testifying as a witness in the case as reported earlier by the PWInsider.

The case will go to trial next week at the US District Court Southern District of Illinois on the 26th of September.

The verdict will have a huge impact on the wrestling video game world as a lot of other tattoo artists might also come forward and file lawsuits against the creators if she wins the case.
