The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar made a surprise appearance on this week's Friday Night Smackdown and sent a message to the roster by announcing his entry into the men's Royal Rumble match.

Lesnar is a two-time Royal Rumble winner and his last Rumble win came last year after he eliminated Drew McIntyre to book his ticket to the main event of Wrestlemania.

The former WWE Champion came through the crowd and took out his rival Bobby Lashley before confirming his participation in the 30-man over-the-top-rope battle royal.

Lesnar had already made his return to the WWE on last Monday's 30th anniversary special edition of Raw by interfering in the US Championship main event match between Theory and Lashley.

The Beast Incarnate attacked Lashley and hit Theory with an F5 on top of Lashley which helped the youngster get the pinfall victory and retain his United States Championship.

Lashley and Lesnar have been feuding for a while and the two superstars are currently tied on the head-to-head as both of them were able to pick one win each.

Lesnar's announcement has already increased the star power of the Rumble match and fans across the world are really excited about the match already.

But the two superstars are unlikely to win the Rumble match this Saturday as it looks like the creative direction is to have them finish their feud with a final match at WrestleMania 39.
