Dwayne Johnson is one of the biggest Hollywood stars in the world right now. Thanks to his unmatched charisma and top-notch comedic timing the actor is adored by millions.

While many fans are aware of Dwayne Johnson's past as The Rock in the WWE, many don't know the person who was responsible for kickstarting the star's Hollywood career.

During a promotional event in October 2022, the Jumanji actor revealed that it was actor Brendan Fraser who helped him land his first major role in Hollywood.

Dwayne Johnson and Brendan Fraser worked together in the 2002 film "The Mummy Returns." The film helped Johnson make his debut on the big screen.

“Brendan said, ‘Come into my franchise’, He welcomed me in when he didn’t have to, and he did, and I never forgot it. So I’m happy for his success now and everyone giving him his flowers.” he said.

Brendan Fraser won the Oscar for best actor at the 95th Academy Awards. The 54-year-old won the award for playing an obese teacher in the film "The Whale."

“I started in this business 30 years ago, things didn’t come easily to me but there was a facility that I didn’t appreciate at the time until it stopped." He said in his acceptance speech.

Dwayne Johnson in the past admitted that he is happy to see Brendan Fraser getting the praise for his performance. Fans are now hoping to see the two stars together on the big screen.
