One More Round: Stone Cold Steve Austin's Last WWE Run Explored

Stone Cold Steve Austin is going to show up at WrestleMania 38 and we can more than expect him to wrestle that night.

It has been 19 years since he wrestled in a match

In 1997 Austin took a Piledriver from Owen Hart

That broke Austin’s neck and left him half-paralyzed. He recovered and made a return to WWE.

During his career, Austin also got his knees injured on multiple occasions and as a result, had to do a lot of surgeries to get them fixed

Austin decided to continue wrestling and fight through his injuries

Austin has Won 3 Royal Rumble matches and multiple titles despite the injuries

But all this constant wrestling had taken a huge toll on his body

In 2003, Stone Cold was set to wrestle The Rock at WrestleMania 19

Rock and Austin were the two pillars of the Attitude era

Both had accomplished everything they could in WWE

One thing that the Rock was never able to accomplish was defeating Stone Cold at WrestleMania

He finally achieved that feat at WrestleMania 19

The Rock got the win after hitting 3 Rock Bottoms

This was the last match that Austin ever wrestled

I am so excited about Steve Austin’s return! Are you?
