Tyson Fury announced his retirement from the boxing ring following his incredible sixth-round stoppage win over Dillian Whyte here in London.
Tyson Fury had earlier stated that he will retire from the boxing ring, in the lead-up to the Dillian Whyte fight.
The Gypsy King confirmed the same in the post-fight interview following his emphatic KO win over Dillian Whyte.
Needless to say, fans are of the hope that Tyson Fury will make his return to boxing sometime in the future, like many have in the past.
Tyson Fury confirms that he will never return to Boxing for money! Speaking in the post-fight press-conference, here's what Fury had to say.
"I know a lot of people with money. Big money. But none of them are happy. Not one of them, and I know money can't make happiness. It's not been about money from me, not about legacies, it's not been about anything." Fury added that his sole reason to box has been to just win inside the ring, and give a beating to his opponents.
It goes without saying, Fury vs Joshua has all the potential to be one of the greatest boxing bouts in the history of British boxing. However, with Fury leaving the ring for good, it's safe to say that we might never see what could have been a boxing spectacle.
However, Fury has opened the door for a hybrid fight against UFC's heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou.
