Nostalgia Hits Conor McGregor as He Looks Back at His UFC 189 Title Fight

Conor McGregor might not be a champion in any division right now.

But, he is still the biggest star in the sport of MMA. And his incredible journey started in the UFC featherweight division.

After winning two titles in Cage Warriors, Conor McGregor made his UFC debut and dominated the UFC featherweights.

After four dominant wins at 145, Conor McGregor fought Chad Mendes for the interim featherweight title at UFC 189.

Conor McGregor went into that fight with a torn ACL and Chad Mendes was the short-notice replacement for Jose Aldo.
