Neymar and Mbappe are both regarded as top-class footballers. Both have their individual skill sets that are hardly matched by their opponents.
It is a crime to have both Neymar and Mbappe in the same 11 and PSG has committed that crime as the French Giant signed them for a hefty amount in 2017.
However, if some sources are to be believed, The Mbappe-Neymar friendship has become fragile after an incident during a league game.
It is reported that during PSG vs Montpellier game, a penalty was awarded to PSG and then there was an awkward altercation between the elites for choosing the penalty kicker.
Both are the designated players that can get the job done however, it was Mbappe who took the penalty and scored but it seemed that Neymar wasn't convinced by the decision.
The tensions elevated in the dressing rooms after Neymar liked a tweet that revolved around criticizing the French prodigy Mbappe.
"It's now official, Mbappe is the penalty taker at PSG," "Clearly this is a contract thing, because at no club in the world that has Neymar would he be the second taker, none. Mbappe owns PSG!!!". This was the tweet liked by Neymar.
However, the pair are still playing together and with the inclusion of Messi, the tension seems to be flattened out. The club will hope there would be no such inter-team arguments as the champions league is around.
