NBA Star Miles Bridges to be Arrested Again?

Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges had been subjected to an arrest warrant for an alleged domestic violence mishap. Sources say that there hasn't been any new physical violence, but the violation of his restrainig order.

In November 2022, Bridges entered a plea of not guilty to felony charges which were against him for choking his girlfriend, Mychelle Johnson, and breaking her nose. It was also reported that she suffered a concussion right after.

The court issued a notice that suggested Bridges be observed closely for about 100 hours and ought to attend counseling. Later, he was convicted of three years of probation since he was proven guilty of abuse.

The NBA decided to suspend Bridges for 10 regular season plays and said they would give him partial credit for 20 games out of 30 since he was MIA the last season. 

Commissioner Adam Silver announced that Miles would be suspended for the first 10 games of the next season since he was refrained from playing in the 2022-2023 season.

The court additionally granted the victim a 10-year restraining order against Bridges and also levied weekly drug tests like narcotics and marijuana on Miles. 

However, in May 2023, Johnson tweeted on X saying that Bridges is “not a woman beater” and complained about the “reports not being true”. Netizens bashed her with criticism and said that she was just after his money.

Miles Bridges had urged the fans and netizens to consider “giving him a second chance” a few months after his ex-wife defended him and contemplated forgiving him for his hideous actions.
