With the 2023 NBA Free Agency kicking off with a new beginning for the associated players, the Lakers have been the lucky ones in acquiring Wizards Rui Hachimura and retaining Austin Reaves.

Amid all the trades, LeBron James came out with his opinion to acquire Kyrie Irving to form their formidable duo from the days of the Cleveland Cavaliers, putting immense pressure on the Lakers.

An inside source revealed, "LeBron has really been very keen on potentially playing with Kyrie again. I would not be surprised if those rumors came up again, depending on what happens in Dallas."

With Kyrie Irving entering this season as a free agent and speculation revolving around his trade, the Dallas Mavericks signed him to a three-year extension worth $126 million with a player option.

Keeping aside LeBron's interest on Kyrie, the Lakers were never interested in acquiring the Mavericks player; however, the future remains uncertain as to whether he lands up with the Lakers.

In his 19th season with the NBA, Los Angeles Lakers icon LeBron James has had some of the best partnerships under three franchises with some of the most prominent players in the league.

From Cleveland Cavaliers Kyrie Irving to Miami Heat Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade, the dominant Shaquille O'Neal to the current Anthony Davis in the Lakers, these pairings have been legendary.

Among the partnerships, LeBron James and Kyrie Irving's pairing up with the Cleveland Cavaliers was a notable one, with a championship against the Golden State Warriors in 2016.
