NBA Star Kyrie Irving Lost to Michael B. Jordan in a Shootout Contest

With the commencement of the NBA Abu Dhabi Games this season, eminent sports stars and celebrities were seen in attendance at the first game between the Dallas Mavericks and Minnesota Timberwolves.

The star of the event was, however, the American actor Michael B. Jordan, seen in quite action ahead of the second game between the Mavericks and Timberwolves, performing a pre-game session.

A moment was captured between Jordan and Mavericks star Kyrie Irving for a shoot-out contest on-court prior to the match, as shared by the Mavericks team on their official X account.

The 3-point shooting face-off between NBA star and celebrity involved quite a bit of creativity and interesting twists performed by the two, with Kyrie shooting and showing off his left-hand skills.

With no concluding result shown in the video, Jordan was declared the winner of the contest by the 8-time All-Star gathering worldwide reactions from fans on social media.

Reactions like "My guy lost to an actor?", "Y’all don’t notice he was shooting left handed", "Yes man, 20 days to go, we are winning the title", "Bro Ik You Lying 😂", were seen on the game-off video.

With no injuries this season, Irving will be seen in action performing for the Mavericks, giving a small highlight to the fans after playing for 13 minutes in the first game followed by a 99-111 loss.

The wait for his regular-season performance, however, stands with Kyrie Irving averaging 27.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 1.3 steals in 20 games played this season.
