The Golden State Warriors, as a franchise, have remained pretty decent since the start. With the inclusion of Stephen Curry, an NBA star of today, the team benefited with five championship wins.
Following Curry, the Warriors drafted other star prospects such as Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, forming a strong trio and making a run for their first championship win in 2015.
With players putting out their best shot for the team, the Warriors, on their part, have kept players in good surroundings with the utmost motivation and driving force from a coach like Steve Kerr.
Besides this, the Warriors on their Instagram page recently shared a 2021 appreciation post of Draymond Green made by his teammate Stephen Curry, stating his IQ level in terms of the game.
The post read, "Draymond Green is the smartest basketball player I've ever played with. He can execute the angle of the pass, speed of the pass, timing of the pass—whatever it is, he's a master."
A few moments later, Draymond himself posted the appreciation quote on his Instagram story along with a small sentence for his star teammate, stating, "Helluva compliment from a [GOAT]."
The two prominent Warriors star partnerships have accomplished some great achievements besides their respective careers; however, their relationship exists beyond professional bounds.
Sharing his thoughts on his relationship with Curry during an interview, Green stated, "Our bond stretches far beyond what we accomplished on the basketball court."
Adding further, "Those bonds will last forever. We are linked and connected together forever. I couldn't imagine sharing this journey with anyone else. We've built this thing from the ground up."
