In a funny clip that has recently gone viral, the mascot of the Oklahoma City, Thunder gave NBA reporter Brooke Olzendam the scare of her life.

On Tuesday (AEDT), when the Thunder were getting ready to take Portland, Rumble, the mascot for Oklahoma City, crept up behind Olzendam as she was about to go on camera.

Rumble, a bison whose name comes from the sound of thunder, crept up behind the reporter and held still for a few seconds, looking straight into the lens of the camera.

After some time, Olzendam became aware that someone was standing just behind her. As soon as she turned around, she saw the mascot just a few inches away from her.

The sideline reporter was horribly alarmed and fled in terror before she realized the humor in the prank. While the mascot was delighted with its efforts and was seen prancing away joyously.

Olzendam shared a picture with the mascot a day before the game where she wrote that the mascot had told her that she should be scared tomorrow night. Well, Rumble executed his plan successfully.

However, it's not the first time Olzendam is targeted by an NBA mascot. Earlier in 2017, the New Orleans Pelican, Pierre played a similar prank on her.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Thunder made a pull-up jump shot to lift the Thunder to a 123-121 victory against the Trail Blazers, ruining Damian Lillard's historic night. However, Alexander scored 35 points.
