NBA Players Who Are Taller Than Victor Wembanyama

With the 2023 NBA Draft happening soon, there have been many prominent prospects this season, including the 7-foot-4 tall Victor Wembanyama joining the list of tallest players in the league.

With the highest number of 875 games played in the NBA, Mark Eaton is a former player of the Utah Jazz for 12 seasons. Standing 7-foot-4, he was one of the best defensive centers in the league.

Making his debut in 1983 with the Houston Rockets is 7-foot-4 Ralph Sampson, a 4-time NBA All-Star, an All-Star MVP, Rookie of the Year, and a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Drafted in 1988 by the Indiana Pacers, 7-foot-4 Rik Smits is also a former NBA center making an All-Star appearance in 1998 and played a total of 867 games in his 12-season career.

Another 7-foot-4 player on the list is the San Antonio Spurs' 2015 undrafted free agent and a Serbian national player Boban Marjanović currently playing for the Houston Rockets.

With a height of 7-foot-5, the 1982 Houston Rockets drafted former NBA player Chuck Nevitt, also a part of 4 other franchises earning an NBA Championship title with the Los Angeles Lakers in 1985

At 7-foot-6 are former NBA players Shawn Bradley or "the Stormin' Mormon," a 1993 Philadelphia 76ers drafted center player and the 2002 Houston Rockets drafted player and 8-time All-Star Yao Ming.

Tied in the tallest players on the list are Gheorghe Muresan and Manute Bol at 7-foot-7. 1993 drafted Gheorghe is a former Washington Bullets (now Wizards) player featured in the movie My Giant.

Manute Bol is a 1985 drafted player of Washington Bullets with an impressive defensive presence, career-high blocks of 5.0 per game in rookie season, and part of the All-Defensive Team of 1986.
