Ja Morant's second gun controversy has been a topic of discussion for a long time. It has been a month since any official statement or verdict was given out related to the incident.

Morant earlier faced an 8-game suspension for his first gun incident. The suspension on the second one got delayed because of the 2023 NBA Finals, but on Friday, the verdict was given out.

As per a social media post, it states, "The NBA announced today that Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant has been suspended for 25 games without pay for conduct detrimental to the league."

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver stated, "He is required to meet certain conditions before he returns to play and will be ineligible to participate in any league or team activities during his suspension."

Adding, "Before his return to play, he will be required to formulate and fulfill a program with the league that directly addresses the circumstances that led him to repeat this destructive behavior.”

Following Silver's official statement on Morant's second gun incident, NBA fans started to troll him on his 25-game suspension verdict with several memes on Twitter.

Memes like 'David Stern in the afterlife hearing that Silver only suspended Morant for 25 games', 'Adam Silver creating all that hype just to suspend Ja for only 25 games', and more like these came out.

Morant, however, also issued a statement, "I've had time to reflect and realize how much hurt I've caused. I want to apologize to the NBA, the Grizzlies, my teammates, and the city of Memphis."

The Grizzles star expressed his emotions by saying he would work hard on his actions, learn from his mistakes, and have a chance to prove himself by becoming a better version of himself than before.
