Naomi Osaka Will Not Return to Tennis Until 2024

Naomi Osaka shared a photo of an ultrasound as part of her "small life update for 2023" on social media.

Naomi Osaka has revealed her pregnancy and expects to return to compete in 2024, just days after withdrawing from the Australian Open.

 Osaka has not competed since September and has withdrawn from the Australian Open, which begins on Sunday. She has won the competition twice, as well as two US Opens.

Osaka has been dating rapper Cordae for some years. She reveals that she is looking forward to play tennis again very soon.

Osaka last competed in the Pan-Pacific Open in Tokyo, when she withdrew in the second round due to stomach problems.

Despite falling as low as 47th in the world last year, Osaka has remained the highest-paid female athlete, earning more than $50 million according to Forbes.

The Japanese tennis star will now focus on parenting before returning to the court to restart her career.

The fans are eager to watch her play again as she is set to return back in 2024.
