UFC President Dana White talks about "do nothing" media and how he held UFC events during Covid.

While talking to Fox News's Tucker Carlson Monday, White explained how his main aim was to keep the business running and pay the employee's salaries.

"We couldn't even do it in our own facility that we controlled and that we could have created a bubble here," White said about the Covid restrictions.

UFC was one of the first sports that returned after the Covid lockdowns. UFC held UFC 249 in Florida.

Talking about the Fight Island in Abu Dhabi, White called it the only true bubble which also included hotel staff and workers.

"They were there for weeks being tested regularly before we even got there. Then the people that we were bringing over, we tested, flew over on our own private plane that only we were on, got to the island", Dana White on Fight Island.

White also slammed the media which was very critical and negative towards his apporach. He said many of them "do nothing [and] never built anything."

White says, "Nobody depends on them for a paycheck. But all they do is sit back and criticize [that] I'm going to kill people and I care more about money than I do human life"
