Since the Portuguese soccer legend Cristiano Ronaldo officially joined Al-Nassr in January 2023, the Saudi Pro League has become a trend in global soccer as many top players have joined the league.

While the latest transfer window experienced a massive signing in the Saudi Pro League, the soccer world is expecting more signings in the league in the upcoming transfer windows.

A popular Liverpool player is reportedly set to join Ronaldo and former Liverpool player Sadio Mane's Saudi club, Al-Nassr, soon.

The 32-year-old Spanish midfielder Thiago Alcântara, who also played for Barcelona and Bayern Munich, is likely to leave Liverpool soon to join Al-Nassr, where he will reunite with Sadio Mane.

After signing for the Reds in 2020 summer, Thiago has played 97 matches for Liverpool. However, due to recent injuries, the Spanish midfielder hasn't appeared in this season yet.

Thiago reportedly hasn't any prominent role in the present Liverpool team. Although his present contract with the English club can run until June 2024, the Reds are likely to release him in January.

According to a recent report by El Nacional, Thiago is likely to join Al-Nassr, who have significantly shown interest in signing him in the upcoming winter transfer window.

Thiago, who last played for Spain in 2021, is hoping for a fresh start in his soccer career by joining the Saudi club Al-Nassr.
