Brazil's all-time leading international goalscorer Neymar Jr. has suffered another injury during a recent international match. The 31-year-old's latest injury is a career-threatening injury.

During the 2-0 away defeat against Uruguay in the FIFA WC Qualifiers on October 17, Neymar suffered a horrible knee injury. He was carried off on a stretcher and left the stadium using crutches.

Later, the test results confirmed that Neymar suffered a torn ACL and meniscus injury on his left knee. He is set to miss the game for another lengthy period.

Since 2018, Neymar has suffered big injuries frequently as he has already been out of the game for 640 days in the last seven seasons. His recovery time from the latest injury is unknown.

Neymar joined Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal last August after ending his contract with PSG. He has played 5 matches for Al Hilal. Meanwhile, his presence in the Copa America 2024 is also unclear.

Argentine legend Lionel Messi, Neymar's Barcelona and PSG partner, sent a strong message to the Brazilian. On his Instagram story, Messi shared an image with Neymar and captioned, "Stay strong!"

Messi and Neymar's on-field chemistry is a testament to their understanding and trust, which transcend the field. Beyond the pitch, they've always maintained a close bond.

Like Messi, soccer fans are also praying for Neymar's quick recovery from another big injury as the game wants to see this talent more in the future.
