Leon Edwards Breaks Several Records With Stunning KO Win at UFC 278

Leon Edwards is the new undisputed UFC welterweight champion of the world with a spectacular win over Kamaru Usman at UFC 278.

After a thrilling first round, Leon Edwards failed to do anything significant throughout the course of the fight, until the head kick that knocked Usman out cold.

With the victory, Leon Edwards broken several records in the UFC and has found himself at the cusp of global stardom.

Leon Edwards is now the only fighter to register a KO win over Kamaru Usman and the first fighter to hand a loss to the Nigerian Nightmare in the UFC.

In the process, Edwards extended his winning streak to ten straight wins, snapping Usman of off his 15 fight win-streak.

Moreover, Edwards is the first fighter to secure a takedown against Kamaru Usman, which he achieved in the very first round at UFC 278.

Leon Edwards is also the first ever Jamaican born UFC champion and the only current British UFC champion.
