LeBron James Will Not Retire From NBA Until He Achieves One Thing

LeBron is currently playing in his 19th NBA season and has won four titles, two with the Miami Heat, one with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and one with the Lakers.

He recently overtook Kareem Abdul Jabbar to take the title of NBA's all-time leading scorer. James has had one of the most successful careers ever, but he said he won't stop playing until he accomplishes a certain goal.

In an interview with The Athletic, LeBron stated that he won't stop playing until he is on the same team as his kid, Bronny.

"My last year will be played with my son, Wherever Bronny is at, that's where I'll be. I would do whatever it takes to play with my son for one year. It's not about the money at that point." said LeBron.

At the moment, Bronny plays for the Sierra Canyon School in Los Angeles. As of November, the junior point guard is the 52nd-ranked prospect and he will be eligible for the draft in two years.

Bronny had previously expressed interest in playing for Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, North Carolina, and UCLA but he has only received a scholarship offer from Kentucky thus far.

LeBron's contract with the Lakers is about to expire, and he will be an unrestricted free agent in 2023. When asked if he would consider going back to Cleveland, he replied, "The door’s not closed on that,I’m not saying I’m coming back and playing, I don’t know..."

Bronny is expected to join the NBA by 2024, and if LeBron and Bronny were to play on the same team, it would undoubtedly be a major media and fan attraction and a historical moment.
