As one of the established players of the league, Los Angeles Lakers current star LeBron James, entering his 21st season career, is on the lookout to attain and create noteworthy achievements.

The 38-year-old NBA star, however, has currently directed his longtime interest in becoming a franchise owner with the establishment of a new NBA team representing Las Vegas.

In one of the recent post-game interviews, LeBron, when asked about his decision for a team in a city like Vegas, stated, "Obviously, you have the Raiders here; you have the [Golden] Knights here."

"You have the Aces here. You have F1 coming very soon. All-Star Weekend has happened a few times. I think adding an NBA franchise here would just add to the momentum that's going on in this town."

NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal and former James's teammate, on the other hand, have shown a similar interest in expanding an NBA team in Las Vegas during one of his interviews with The Messenger.

"I would like to have my own group. I know Vegas hasn’t been awarded an NBA team yet, but if they are, I would like to be a part of that. I don’t want to partner up with anybody."

The linkup, however, comes from James's last year's plea on expanding the league's link and the establishment of a franchise in Las Vegas, leading to a public request to the NBA Commissioner.

Reflecting on one of his post-game interviews, James stated, "I would love to bring a team here at some point. That would be amazing. I know Adam is in Abu Dhabi right now, I believe."

Including his direct reference to Adam Silver, LeBron states, "He probably sees every single interview and transcript that comes through from NBA players. So, I want the team here, Adam. Thank you."
