Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, as one of the eminent NBA personalities, has been quite active with his comments and views on addressing social issues and controversies in the outside world.
His involvement in the U.S. elections and his debate against racism and policy brutality over the deaths of three African natives of Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner, and Ma'Khia Bryant, hold prominence.
With the ongoing devastations involving Israel in speculation, a majority of eminent personalities worldwide from different industries have come out in support of the matter, including the NBA star.
In a joint statement with his business partner Maverick Carter, LeBron addressed the topic of sympathizing with the tragic events suffered by the country on his Instagram social media account.
"The devastation in Israel and the murder and violence against innocent people by Hamas is terrorism. The SpringHill Company family sends our deepest condolences to Israel and the Jewish community."
"We pray for peace in the region and reiterate our continued commitment to fight hate in all its forms. We all must work to ensure this does not spread even more hate, racism, and antisemitism."
During such challenging times and tension pondering over the Israel people over terrorism acts by the Hamas group, a compensation amount of $2 billion in aid has been given by the Congress.
NBA statement on the issue followed: "The NBA and NBPA mourn the horrific loss of life in Israel and condemn these acts of terrorism. We stand with Israel and pray for peace for the entire region."
