The new Nike Liverpool x LeBron football shirt was unveiled by LeBron James before the Lakers' basketball match versus the Spurs.
James, who will shortly surpass Magic Johnson as the NBA's all-time top scorer, appeared at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles wearing a new shirt created in association with Liverpool F.C and Nike.
The shirt has a black background with block stripes of dark grey that are highlighted by red piping. Two practically transparent acronyms, "YNWA" and "SFG," are inserted inside the stripes.
The former stands for Liverpool's famed motto, "You'll Never Walk Alone," and the latter is James' own mantra, "Strive For Greatness." The former stands for Liverpool's famed "You'll Never Walk Alone."
On the front of the shirt, in addition to Nike's "Swoosh" emblem, we'll also see the recognizable Liverpool F.C. crest and LeBron's "LJ" badge. James also wore a modified version of the Air Max 1 from the LeBron x Liverpool collection that had previously leaked.
Instead of the silhouette's original white mesh upper, a lighter shade of teal was used, and more black was added to the AM1's tongue. These hues and tones were inspired by the Merseyside team's 22/23 third kit.The words "YNWA" and "SFG" are engraved on the right and left heels of each Liverpool x LeBron Nike Air Max 1 sneaker,
The first footwear item in the Liverpool x LeBron line was a pair of basketball shoes that Nike published a few months ago, but the imminent release of the AM1, will undoubtedly appeal to both soccer fans and sneakerheads worldwide.
The co-branded product line that has been previewed appears to effortlessly combine the worlds of basketball and soccer in a way that has only previously been seen in the era-defining alliance between PSG and Jordan, which is sure to have had an influence on Liverpool, LeBron, and Nike.
