The LA Lakers legend LeBron James, who is appreciated for his longevity in basketball, is in serious trouble after being accused of using Erythropoietin (EPO) steroid.

LeBron James was recently accused of using performance-enhancing drugs by former UFC title contender, analyst, and MMA mouthpiece Chael Sonnen.

In his appearance on the "Flagrant" podcast, Sonnen said, "If the world understood what LeBron did. Like other basketball players will hear what LeBron does and go 'that doesn't matter."

He continued, "If you knew what these performance enhancers did, then you would know why it does matter. We have the same drug guy. I know exactly what he's doing."

Many people have been suspicious of James because, at 38, he is still playing like a king with immense strength and energy. Currently, he is averaging 29.5 points, 6.9 assists, and 8.4 rebounds.

However, LeBron has never faced any difficulty while playing a game except for his injuries. This is because he cares a lot about health and fitness and makes investments in his body.

Stephen A. Smith and Marx Kellerman discussed LeBron a few years ago on "First Take". While Marx praised James for his longevity, Smith made a controversial statement.

When Smith was asked about James' slow decline, he said that it "raises an eyebrow", that he is getting better while his fellow players are getting worse. He also doubted Bron's use of PEDs.

Though numerous fans and players have been suspicious of James' use of PEDs, no clear evidence has been found in this matter, as he never tested positive for steroids in his 20-year career.
