Mr. Jeffery Lysiak was a key figure in LeBron James’ 'I Promise School’. The school is suffering a major setback due to his demise.
Popular hiphop artist Drake is one of the many supporters of the 'I Promise School' which aims to improve the lives of inner-city children. However, with the demise of Mr. Jeffrey A. Lysiak, they lost a crucial pillar in their project.
Getting the sad news just on the eve of his birthday must have been difficult for LeBron. He has a deep attachment to the school since he went out of his way to establish it when he got the opportunity.
LeBron James has shared his condolences with Jeff's family. LeBron tweeted: "Rest in peace Jeff! You'll be missed! My condolences goes out to your loved ones."
Jeffery used to work as a teacher and assistant principal for the Akron City Schools and was one of the founding members of the 'I Promise School'. He was always the favorite of the kids during his days in Akron City Schools.
Some fans have also expressed their condolences after LeBron James' post on Jeffrey Lysiak.
On the Twitter page of the LeBron James Family Foundation and I Promise School, a picture of Jeff has been shared along with a caption.
The caption read: " Our hearts are heavy with the passing of Mr. Jeffrey Lysiak. Mr. Lysiak had an incredible impact on so many of our I Promise students and was a key piece of the school's beginning. He will always be a part of our students and school's legacy."
