Recently LeBron James received some backlash for his tweet in support of the NFL star Deshaun Watson during the game of Cleveland Browns Vs Washington Commanders.

In his 9-completion game, Watson threw three touchdown passes. The LA Lakers star LeBron James praised the team's performance in the 24-10 victory.

LeBron James tweeted: “Yessir D Watson!! Another one. That boy getting his rhythm back!” which led to controversies among fans.

Watson seemed to be regaining his “rhythm” after being suspended for a long time due to more than 24 legal cases alleging sexual assault. The majority of the cases were settled by Watson and he was never held responsible in any of the cases.

James' tweet drew some attention toward him. A fan replied: “Thought he was hacked for a second no way this is real”. Another replied: “Deshaun Watson got his rhythm back from what?”, while another fan asked: “Really?”

Fans were surprised by his tweet where he is supporting a player who is accused of a number of sexual assaults.

A fan said: "You stopped being a cowboys fan because of Jerry Jones but you are now actively rooting for Deshaun Watson!?" Another said: “LePlease Delete This.” While another fan replied: “Well this sucks”.

Some fans have also shared memes expressing their surprised reaction to James' tweet. A fan said: “I know LeBron grew up a Browns fan but I'm surprised Deshaun Watson is a person he's publicly supporting.”
