#1 Austin Theory defends his United States Championship in a spontaneous match
Austin recently won the United States Championship. Every week on RAW, the WWE Chairman's protégé is promoted. So if Vince McMahon wants to give Theory the spotlight this is the chance to have him compete in Backlash.
#2 Women's Tag Team Championship match can be added
Sasha Banks and Naomi are set to defend their titles after Backlash against Natalya and Shayna Baszler. As Backlash has only one women's match this can be moved forward.
#3 An existing match gets a stipulation
If we see the matches lined up for Backlash, there is only one I Quit match others are normal matches. So addition of a stipulation to Cody Rhodes vs Seth Rollins match can spice things up for the event.
#4 Ronda Rousey might not win the Women's Championship match
Ronda Rousey has not had a eventful time since she came back. Now she is not even showing enough fire and enthusiasm towards her feud with Charlotte. So it might not be a surprise if she loses the match.
