Khloe Kardashian is setting trends in a brand-new way. The sneaker resale market is booming recently after she wore a pair of Jordans shoes.
Khloe was spotted wearing a pair of Jordans to Bronny James' high school basketball game on Monday, December 12.
According to Remo from Walk Like Us, these shoes generally cost up to $130 for women's grade school sizes. However, since Kardashian made her appearance with the shoes the prices are increasing drastically.
Some are currently selling the shoes for $600, which is very high for women’s shoes.
This price is very unusual for female sizes because female sizes are generally cheaper. The most expensive sizes right now are 6 and 7.
The retailers immediately noted the price increase on the day Kim and Khloe sat courtside for the high school showcase in LA. Though, a sudden price increase like this is more typical for men's size.
As per sources, the girls had a great day at the high school game involving the sons of LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony. La La Anthony, the K sisters, and Scottie Pippen were among the popular faces in the audience.
It is also observed that despite the controversy involving Kim's boyfriend Ye, Khloe occasionally wears Yeezys. No comparable increase for those sneakers has been encountered.
