After Conor McGregor made a fortune by boxing Floyd Mayweather, many UFC stars have tried to jump over to the boxing world.
Francis Ngannou is aiming for a heavyweight clash against Tyson Fury and the P4P king Kamaru Usman has his eyes set on Canelo Alvarez.
However, UFC's rising star Khamzat Chimaev has no interest in trying his luck inside the boxing ring against a world champion such as Canelo Alvarez.
"I think I’m the best in the world, but I can’t say I can beat (Canelo) in boxing because I’m not a stupid guy. The guy all his life did boxing, he knocked out – he killed so many good guys.”
Khamzat Chimaev claimed: " If he comes to my game, if Canelo comes to the UFC and fights with me, I can take 10 seconds and let him sleep. The guy never did wrestling, grappling, ground-and-pound, these things. You can’t do it."
And it won't be surprising if Chimaev moves up to middleweight to become a two-division champion in UFC.
