UFC Bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling questions Khamzat Chimaev's missing weight ahead of UFC 279.

Khamzat Chimaev has missed the weight by nearly 8 pounds, which means he'll not fight Nate Diaz at the UFC 279 main event.

Sterling thinks that Chimaev missed his weight on purpose. He also pointed out that Chimaev did not seem drained and was smiling after the bad weight cut

Khamzat Chimaev says that doctors stopped him from cutting more weight. This led to him missing the weight.

Khamzat Chimaev is unbeaten in his UFC career so far. He has also won bonuses in all five of his fights

Khamzat Chimaev will fight Kevin Holland in the co-main whereas, Tony Ferguson replaces him for the main event.

The UFC 279 seems likely to be Nate Diaz's last fight, who now will fight Tony Ferguson in the main event.

Dana White says the card originally featured three welterweight fights just to deal with mishaps like these and it is not a coincidence.
