After he retired from MMA, Khabib Nurmagomedov kickstarted multiple ventures including his MMA promotion, Eagle MMA.
Now Eagle FC is making a buzz in the MMA world by signing many notable MMA fighters such as Junior Dos Santos, Kevin Lee, Diego Sanchez and many more.
Despite achieveing all the success in MMA and in the world of business, Khabib Nurmagomedov has stayed true to his values.
In a recent interview The former UFC champion was asked whether Eagle FC would partner with Bookmakers, which would potentially earn millions of dollars to Eagle FC.
But, Khabib turned down the offer to work with bookmakers as he believes that ruins lives of the young generations. Khabib even said gambling is more dangerous than alcohol.
“We have plenty of good sponsors that we work with and put on events. We don’t need bookmakers. I believe that gambling is more dangerous than alcohol."- Khabib Nurmagomedov stated
"I think it’s worse to advertise bookmakers than alcohol. Bookmakers ruin entire families,” - Khabib continued. This response from the former champ certainly impressed the fans.
Khabib Nurmagomedov was a role model to many while he was competing in MMA and it seems The Eagle has not changed a lot after all these years.
