Former UFC champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov shocked the world when he announced his retirement back in 2020, when he was in a dominating 13-fight win streak including three title defenses.

According to the Dagestani native, this decision came due to his promise he made it to his mother. Despite this, whatever Khabib doess becomes a source of headlines for the world.

In a viral video now being circulated, Khabib was seen playing an online video game, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), with his teammate, and current lightweight champ Islam Makhachev.

Islam Makhachev, as much as he is immersed in the sport, was seen in a full-blown gaming rig. CS:GO is one of the popular online competitive shooters and has remained the ultimate game of its genre.

This was not the first time Khabib was seen immersing himself in the world of E-sports. Khabib & Islam love to play video games. Since Khabib was a teenager he had a keen interest in football as well.

A similar clip surfaced on the internet earlier, where Nurmagomedov could be seen in his teens playing the UFC game on PS2. Khabib, interestingly, chose Tito Ortiz, who's known for his wrestling.

The fans considered the moment of Islam and Khabib playing CS:GO as wholesome, as this game has been a prodigy in the competitive shooter genre since it's release.

The undefeated Dagastani fighter has been out of the cage since 2020 but his cousin, Islam Makhachev is scheduled for a rematch against Charles Oliviera for the lightweight title at UFC 294.
