John Cena is set to team up with Aquaman star Jason Momoa for an upcoming holiday special project by Warner Bros, reports Variety.

The rowdy action comedy is named "Killer Vacation" and this will see the two Hollywood superstars team up for the first time ever.

Momoa is famous for his role as the DC Superhero Aquaman and his recent performances received huge praise from fans.

Cena on the other hand is also not a stranger to DC films as he played the role of Peacemaker in the recent "The Suicide Squad" movie which also was a huge hit at the box-office.

Cena also did an HBO Max spin-off of "The Suicide Squad" called "The Peacemaker" where he portrayed the same character from the film.

Fans are really excited to see the two powerhouses meet up on the big screen as the expectations are so high. The filming is set to start soon.

Cena during his busy schedule this year was unable to compete in the WWE. It's the first ever year that Cena has failed to have a match in the company since making his debut.

The 16-time World Champion is expected to be part of WrestleMania next year and his opponent for the show as of now is unknown.
