WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg says 16-time World Champion John Cena never thanked him for paving the way for his famous rapper gimmick.

Road Dogg during his stint in the WWE played a rapper gimmick and paved the way for Cena's "Doctor of Thuganomics" gimmick.

The Dr Thuganomics character helped Cena save his WWE career as he got over instantly among the fans. This led to him being the biggest babyface in the company's history.

One fan on Twitter asked the former D Generation X member if Cena ever thanked him for helping him create his famous gimmick and Road Dogg said he didn't.

Road Dogg currently works in the WWE as the Senior Vice President of Live Events and he recently opened up about booking John Cena as a part-timer.

He said that booking Cena is very difficult because he only shows up for three shows and a booker can't put the title on him as he will only stick around for a short time.

John Cena recently made a surprise appearance on WWE and announced that he will team up with Kevin Owens to face Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn in two weeks.
