UFC colour commentator Joe Rogan recalls the time he saved a fan after he trash-talked about the welterweight champion, Leon Edwards.

Rogan revealed how that person went over the line in the recent episode of his podcast with stand-up comics Ari Shaffir, Tom Segura, and Bert Kreischer.

"Some guy was talking sh*t to Leon Edwards and I said you're making a critical mistake...and you're picking the wrong dude", said Rogan.

Joe Rogan went on to claim that the current welterweight champion, Leon Edwards is one of the best fighters on this planet.

Leon Edwards clinched the welterweight title this year in August. Edwards knocked down long-time champion Kumaru Usman with a head kick. This was Usman and Edwards's second meet up

Kumaru Usman was the king of the welterweight class since March 2019 and had a total of five title defences under his belt.

Many fans believe that UFC kept Edwards away from a title shot for a long time and some of his competitors refused to fight him.

UFC has shown interest in organising a trilogy between Edwards and Usman. President Dana White has talked before about hosting a fight in the UK Leon Edwards home and at Wembley Stadium.
