Islam Makhachev will return to the Octagon to take on Alexander Volkanovski in his first title defense at UFC 284.

The UFC will travel to Australia in Volkanovski's hometown where the Aussie fighter will look to become a two-division champion.

Less than a week away from the fight, Islam Makhachev feels UFC is not doing enough to promote the PPV.

Islam Makhachev isn't too happy with how UFC is promoting UFC 284, and hinted at the possible shift of attention to Power Slap and White's recent troubles.

“Dana White himself has some problems. He does not pay much attention to this fight.  And in terms of pay-per-view, yes, more could have been done." Makhachev said.

Dana White found himself under severe scrutiny of fans after he was captures on camera, slapping his wife, leading to huge uproar.

Meanwhile, the focus on Power Slap has also led the UFC social media networks to push Slap fighting a little more than UFC.

What are your thoughts on the hype surrounding UFC 284? It's a huge match-up and one that will put two incredible winning streaks on the line. Are you excited?
