Is Roman Reigns the Only WWE Star to Hold the Title for More Than 800 Days?

Roman Reigns has been at the top of the WWE for a while now. He has been the top champion in the company for over 800 days.

Reigns won the Universal Championship back in 2020 when he defeated Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt after his return.

He then won the WWE championship at this year's Wrestlemania by beating Brock Lesnar in the championship Unification match.

Roman's title reign is undoubtedly one of the greatest reigns of all time but is it the longest WWE championship reign of all time?

Roman Reigns ranks 6th among the longest championship reigns behind Pedro Morales, Hulk Hogan, Bob Backlund and Bruno Sammartino.

WWE Hall of Famers Pedro Morales held the title for 1027 days, Bruno Sammartino for 1,237, Hulk Hogan for 1,474 days and Bob Backlund for 2,135 days.

Bruno Sammartino is the one to feature twice on the 1000+ club as he holds the top spot with 2,803 days as WWE's top champion.

Circled Dot

It'll be very difficult for Roman to beat the record as modern-day wrestling is different from the old days but Roman's Title reign has already become one of the best of all time.
