As part of his 21-season career with the Dallas Mavericks, former NBA star Dirk Nowitzki is a 2011 champion with other achievements under his belt, including a 2007 MVP and 14 All-Star appearances.

With an established career as the greatest power forward and all-time leading scorer, he earned the honor of having the Olive Street near the American Airlines Center renamed the 'Nowitzki Way'.

Living such a luxurious life, the former NBA star is currently residing in an $8.25 million, 1.99-acre property in Preston Hollow after moving out of Strait Lane in a North Dallas neighborhood.

The recent purchase of the 2.44-acre historic property at 5906 Deloache Avenue belongs to a late Dallas billionaire, Charles Wyly, and was originally built in 1939.

Rebuilt and remodeled structurally, the white-colored property is surrounded and covered by greenery, with huge trees in large numbers to be found in any space.

Offering 11,394 square feet of living space, the mansion covers four bedrooms, including two master bedrooms, nine bathrooms connected to the rooms, and a vast space of five other living areas.

Furnished with wooden flooring, the total living space includes a commercial-grade kitchen in white with various appliances, an in-built glass-covered large greenhouse atrium, and an elevator.

The outdoor area of the property has an outdoor pool, a big sports court for tennis and basketball, a guest quarter, five garages for his car collection, and a big green lawn at the back.

Investing in Malte Kramer's Los Angeles-based software company, Luxury Presence, which provides real estate services, Dirk Nowitzki's partnership helped the company raise nearly $26 million.
