Ja Morant, Memphis Grizzlies star is to become the next Nike athlete in their NBA shoe game after Nike's cut-off with Kyrie Irving.

Nike did not reveal to its insiders the plan for replacing Irving with Ja Morant. Later, Burns said about Morant " He is the near future".

Morant and Nike are teaming up to make the "Nike Ja 1" shoes which are to be priced at $110.

Morant is the first Grizzlies player who has ever had a shoe deal with a company as valuable as Nike. So, if Ja does his best, this shoe might be the first among many in his successful career.

Nike currently boasts signature athletic shoes for Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Paul George, and Morant (in place of Irving).

The brand is signed with rising young stars like Ben Simmons, Luka Doncic, De'Aaron Fox, Jayson Tatum, Devin Booker, and Kyle Kuzma.

Morant currently shows no interest to meet with other companies, other than Nike.

Morant is about to be the next stardom athlete with Nike along with popular sports celebs. The popular Morant shoe will become available by next summer for purchasing.
