UFC stars, along with achieving numerous accomplishments in their lives, also inspire aspiring youth to pursue their dreams, especially those who have goals similar to theirs.

Having a similar story is Luana Santos, the woman who recently made her grand UFC debut on Saturday at UFC Vegas 78 by defeating Juliana Miller, the Ultimate Fighter 30 winner, via first-round TKO.

Santos talked about the origin of her childhood dream of pursuing MMA in her post-fight interview. She talked about how her mother wanted her to learn ballet, and she too never thought about MMA.

"He took my brother and I to a judo class and my mother didn’t want that, she wanted me to do ballet." Said Santos. She further added, "I never dreamed about going to MMA."

"I was always a fan of Ronda Rousey because she’s a judoka, for her story, for seeing her in movies. I was inspired by her. I was watching the UFC and joked that I would do that one day."

Luana Santos, after her win against Miller, now stands at 6-1. The 23-year-old Brazilian fighter made her debut in the world of UFC, competing in the Flyweight division.
