As per Chelsea White and Dylan Howard, LeBron James is fortunate enough to be still alive.

Crystal Air Aviation has been accused by pilot George Thomsen of letting many celebrities fly in a dangerous aircraft. James is one of them, along with Jennifer Lopez and Charlie Sheen.

According to Thomsen it is one of the worst incidents that occurred on November 11, 2011, when James' friends Ernest "Randy" Mims, Maverick Carter, and Richard Paul along with Agent Tederick Curvy were on a flight from Ohio to London.

Howard and White of Star magazine said:When it was time to return to the United States, the private jet was grounded after Thomsen discovered a "major fuel leak" during the jet's refueling, that spewed potentially explosive fuel under the aircraft's right wing.”

They also said: “The leak was so bad, authorities at London's Luton Airport immediately called in HAZMAT experts and blocked off the area.”

They also quoted Thomsen: “My whole career of 42 years of flying has been about safety. These guys for whatever way possible to shortchange training, shortchange maintenance and jeopardizing safety. They are jeopardizing safety and lives.”

Thomsen claimed that even though the leak could have easily led to the plane blowing up, Crystal Air Aviation, which is based in California, ordered him to fly the plane home since it would be cheaper to fix the plane in London.

Thomsen refused to obey the instruction. However, the flight in question stayed grounded in England, and James and those traveling with him boarded a different flight to return home.  James and other celebs have never spoken about the incident.
