The Gerard Pique and Shakira drama seems to be never-ending as new details have emerged regarding their relationship.
The celebrity couple decided to end their relationship last month but there's no shortage of rumors and revelations since the breakup.
The latest story that social media users are pointing out is that in the past the Spanish center-back had asked Shakira to "shut her mouth" in an uncomfortable moment.
According to a thread on Twitter, Shakira had mentioned in an interview that she couldn't film music videos with men and can only do so with women.
After the controversial comments, Pique reportedly asked the Columbian singer to "Shut her mouth" and not talk too much during interviews.
The comments became a huge controversy as many people blamed Pique for being a controlling partner to the famous singer.
Shakira then came out in another interview and clarified the situation and said that Pique said that in a humorous way but the media took it literally.
Shakira in a recent interview thanked everyone who stood by her during her difficult times and Pique meanwhile played in Barcelona's 1-0 away win over Mallorca on Saturday.
