Ngannou is nearly 300lbs now, sacred Justin Gaethje

Heavyweight champ Francis Ngannou is getting ready for his return to the octagon and has started training for it.

Ngannou looked in great shape. Two-time lightweight contender Justin Gaethje said he looked scary and guessed that he'd be weighing around 300 lbs. Ngannou clarified it's around 293 lbs

Ngannou had to go through knee surgery after his last fight at the UFC 270, he has been out of training since then.

The heavyweight champ went through a severe injury where he had problems with both ACL and MCL.  These injuries have potential to end a fighters career.

Ngannou's last fight was at the UFC 270 in January against Cyril Gane, where he successfully defended his belt.

He is just back his return date is still not confirmed, he was earlier rumoured to fight Jon Jones at UFC 281.

He will most likely not return till the end of this year and may fight early next year. His first fight will most likely be re-match against imterim cham Gane

Apart from UFC, Ngannou has ambitions to pursue boxing. His plans are not certain but have hinted that he'd do it while being a part of UFC.
