With the majority of players in the NBA becoming free agents, there have been several speculations regarding the trade of a good roster of players, primarily LA Lakers star LeBron James.

After suffering a big defeat by the Denver Nuggets in the Conference semifinals, LeBron's disappointment reflected along with his probable retirement or trade, having a player option this summer.

Currently under a $46.9 million contract, his probable trade chances include teams like Cleveland Cavaliers, New York Knicks, Los Angeles Clippers, Pheonix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, or Chicago Bulls.

Among the franchises, Dallas Mavericks have shown a keen interest in acquiring the star in the team, forming a Big 3 alongside his former Cavaliers teammate Kyrie Irving and Mavericks star Luka Doncic

Even Kyrie Irving himself reached out about his interest in playing with LeBron James by trading him in the Mavericks this season as he will become an unrestricted free agent this summer.

Playing together in the Cavaliers for three seasons from 2014-17, LeBron and Kyrie's partnership helped the franchise win the NBA Championship in 2016 and qualified for three straight NBA Finals.

Despite their good on-court partnership, their off-court relationship was a bitter one with LeBron's dominating nature that led to Kyrie opting out for a trade, the decision which he still regrets.

Joining or not, LeBron's trade to the Mavericks forming the Big 3 can result in a big turning point in his current struggling season with the Lakers producing a formidable partnership with Kyrie.
