Fans Will Have to Sell Their House to Watch Roger Federer’s Last Tennis Match

The whole world was in shock as recently the Swiss great, Roger Federer announced his retirement from the ATP tour on his social media account.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion will be taking part in the last tournament of his career which is the Laver cup in the coming week.

The Laver cup was already high in demand as the big 3; Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic will be playing in the same team for the first time.

With Federer announcing his retirement and this being his last tournament, people won't be looking to miss this tournament by any chance.

As expected there was a huge demand for the tickets, however, with a further increase in demand there was a huge hike in the ticket rates.

Journalist, Jon Wertheim posted on Twitter that the price range for the tickets was from £26,000 to as high as £45,000, the fans were not happy with this.

Many people were disappointed with the price of the tickets, one fan said, "For this price, I hope Rafa brings you to your place in his arms."

Some even mentioned that they will have to sell their house to buy tickets to witness Roger Federer's last professional tennis tournament.
