The fall of the former UFC interim lightweight champion, Tony Ferguson since his loss to Justin Gaethje has been a heartbreaking one.

Tony Ferguson has now lost to Justin Gaethje, Charles Oliveira, Michael Chandler, Beneil Dariush and Nate Diaz in his last 5 fights.

Ferguson has not had a win in the UFC lightweight division for years. And for the first time since March, 2015 Ferguson is not in UFC lightweight rankings.

Tony Ferguson fought his last fight against Nate Diaz in the UFC welterweight division and suffered a submission loss.

Many fans were heartbroken watching the once dominant UFC lightweight lose his rankings after five straight losses.

However, it's needless to say that the best days of Tony Ferguson are behind him. And fans won't be complaining if he does not make a return to the octagon.

El Cucuy is pursuing a degree in prestigious Harvard Management school after his last loss to Nate Diaz in 2022.

Even though Ferguson was never the undisputed UFC champion he will still leave an illustrious legacy if he retires from MMA now.
