The former kickboxer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate were recently arrested in Romania for human trafficking and r*pe.
As per Reuters, Andrew and his brother were accused of forming an organized crime group that exploited young girls for adult videos.
Andrew's video response Greta Thunberg, a 19-year-old environmental activist supposedly played an important role in his arrest because a pizza box that appeared in the video confirmed to authorities that he was in Romania.
Andrew also tagged Greta in a tweet a few days back, boasting about his 33 cars and asking for her email address for sending his car collection.
Lauren Murphy, the UFC Women's flyweight tweeted: "Andrew Tate get bodied by a teenager he tried to pick on, and then get arrested the next day for human trafficking, has been a cake ending to 2022. The fact that he led police to himself with a dipshit video is the cherry on top......"
Greta Thunberg, after Tate's arrest, tweeted: " This is what happens when you don't recycle your pizza boxes " which led to controversies among fans.
David Gokhshtein, the founder of Gokhshtein Media, replied to Greta's tweet: "I knew she called it in. Greta FTW."
Many fans claimed that Greta is behind Tate's arrest. A fan said: "I can't believe I’m on Greta’s side on this exchange." Another replied: "Pft...she just has impeccable timing."
