The UFC's former light heavyweight champion Quinton Jackson makes a shocking announcement of his return to the octagon since he lost to Fedor Emilianenko and retired in 2019.

The veteran fighter, who has been out of the sport for a long time, recently made an appearance on the JAXXON podcast. While on the podcast, he revealed that he would be fighting in December.

"I’m going to fight ‘T**ties’ [Darrill Schoonover] from The Ultimate Fighter. He just signed the contract, like yesterday or today for December," stated Jackson.

The opponent, however, as he stated, would be Darill "The Boss" Schoonover, with whom 'Rampage' has had a rivalry since the time they both entered The Ultimate Fighter back in 2009.

Schoonover, who was just a contestant at the time, was rubbed off by Jackson many times and was even given the nickname "titties" because of his appearance.

As Jackson stated his intention to fight Schoonover in a 'grudge match', both fighters would be looking forward to fighting each other after 14 years.

Schoonover, 38, who has had a professional record of 14-8, retired in 2015, was undefeated since his encounter with James McSweeney in the TUF finale in 2009.

On the other hand, Jackson, 45, has been on streaks of wins and losses in the UFC before transitioning into Bellator and later retiring in 2019, with a professional record of 37-14.
