WWE Hall of Famer Edge is one of the most popular and respected superstars on the current roster. Since returning at Royal Rumble 2020, Edge has had some memorable feuds and matches in the WWE.

The veteran superstar recently on Twitter revealed that WWE Hall of Famer Rowdy Roddy Piper was the one who introduced him to the world of professional wrestling.

Edge replied to a fan's tweet and spoke about all the legendary names that he has faced in his career. The Rated R Superstar said that it blows his mind that he faced some of the industry's legends.

He then co-tweeted the post and said that Roddy Piper changed his life by introducing him to the wrestling business while he was flipping channels on television at home.

"And of course the man who introduced me to what this crazy pro wrestling thing was while flipping the channels, Roddy Piper. He changed the course of my life." He posted.

UFC legend Ronda Rousey also in the past has admitted that it was Piper who inspired her to be a wrestler. Rousey's "Rowdy" nickname is her way of paying tribute to him.

Roddy Piper was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005. The legendary professional wrestler sadly passed away in 2015 at the age of 61 due to a heart attack.

Edge is currently feuding with Finn Balor and The Judgment Day on Raw. The veteran WWE star is expected to face Balor and finish the feud at WrestleMania 39.
